To see the main attractions comfortably, you need 10-14 days. Longer trips will allow you to engage deeper with our beautiful country.

Do you need a 4×4 vehicle?

Yes, as only the major highways are tarred and sedans are not suitable for gravel. You can rent well-equipped vehicles for self-drives, and guided tours come with cars included.

What documents and visas are needed?

You must have a valid passport, return ticket and travel insurance. There are different visa regulations for different countries. When traveling with minors, very specific documents are required.

Should you be vaccinated against anything?

Vaccinations are not mandatory for your holiday, unless you live in a yellow fever country.

How expensive is Namibia?

A budget self-drive can be done for USD50 per person per day, not including the rental car and fuel. Guided tours range from USD150 per person per day upwards.
