The Windhoek to Sossusvlei drive covers 360km in approximately 4 to 4.5 hours: tar south on the B1 to Rehoboth, then west and south on gravel via Solitaire to Sesriem Gate. It is a straightforward route that transitions from the Khomas Highland into the central Namib gravel plains and then to the dune sea.
