The Okahandja Craft Stalls
Approximately 70km north of Windhoek on the B1, roadside craft stalls appear on both sides of the road in Okahandja. These stalls sell woodcarvings produced by artisans from across Namibia and the region; the quality is variable but the selection is large and the prices are negotiable. Many visitors find this the most satisfying craft shopping on the entire Namibia circuit.
