From Swakopmund: Allow 4 hours minimum for the one-way drive to Terrace Bay (280km); this is a day-trip distance that leaves little time at the destination unless you overnight. A Cape Cross day trip (150km; 2 hours driving) is more practical as a standalone day from Swakopmund.
