Itinerary
After breakfast, you start driving towards the Namib desert. Driving through scenic landscapes, the journey becomes part of the destination. Be sure to take photo stops along the way as you embark on your Namibian adventure.
You will arrive at the camp for a late lunch. You are free to relax and enjoy the camp for the rest of the day.
Accommodation: Sossusvlei Desert Camp
A sunrise drive will bring you to the entrance of the Namib-Naukluft National Park. A scenic drive of around 60 km takes you to many scenic spots including Sesriem Canyon, Dune 45, and Big Daddy Dune. At the end of the tar road, you will test your 4×4 skills on a 5 km stretch of sand to reach the final parking spot for a short hike into Deadvlei.
You return to the camp for a late lunch and you can relax for the rest of the afternoon.
Accommodation: Sossusvlei Desert Camp
Start the day with a scenic drive to the Namibian coastal town of Swakopmund. While passing by Solitaire, you can make a stop to try their famous apple pie and take photos of the old cars that decorate the establishment. This in itself has become a must.
About 2h after departure, you will pass the tropic of the Capricorn sign. Another must-see on the way is the Kuiseb Canyon. You will arrive in Swakopmund in the late afternoon. Afterward, you are free to enjoy the evening in this charming town.

This is a free day to enjoy coastal activities. The Namibia Short Tour includes the Pelican Point Kayak Tour starting in the morning. It takes you on a scenic drive along the beach at Pelican Point with the opportunity to take photos and stop at the famous pink lakes of Walvis Bay. You will go kayaking with the seals, have coffee and sandwiches on the beach, and then return to town.
For an additional cost, other available activities are the Marine Dune Day Combo and the Sandwich Harbour Half-Day Tour.
Afterwards, you will have a free afternoon to explore Swakopmund on your own.

After an early breakfast, take a scenic drive up the coast before heading inland towards Brandberg, one of Namibia’s heights mountains. This area is known as Damaraland. With amazing scenery on the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures.
Located near the lodge is the Damara Living Museum. We invite you to add this stop to your itinerary to learn more about the Damara culture, one of the oldest nations of Namibia.

Heading to Etosha (meaning, “The Great White Place”) gives you more amazing scenery as you drive through Damaraland.
An optional Himba village tour is available for this day, should you choose to do so. Depending on your arrival time, you can start visiting Etosha National Park in the afternoon to have a first glimpse of what you can expect on the following day.
Accommodation: Toshari Lodge
If you’re excited to see animals, this is the day for you: a full day in Etosha National Park. This day is spent driving through the park and stopping at the best waterholes frequented by the animals.

It is time to head back to Windhoek, where the trip has started. By now, you will have completed the 9-day loop of Namibia and covered all the highlights in the shortest amount of time possible.
Arriving in Windhoek mid-afternoon, you have time to explore the city and relax.

After breakfast, it is time to drop off your rental vehicle and catch your transfer to the airport as you say goodbye to Namibia, or maybe see you later if this trip left you wanting more.
