Wildlife:<\/strong> Cape fur seal colony (close approach; seals often swim alongside the boat); flamingo (visible across the lagoon; approached to viewing distance); Cape pelican; cormorants; lagoon wading birds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oysters:<\/strong> Walvis Bay produces some of the world’s most highly regarded oysters from farms in the Benguela-cooled lagoon. Fresh oysters are served on board with lemon and hot sauce. For visitors who have never eaten a raw oyster, this is a gentle introduction; the boat guide typically provides instruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sparkling wine:<\/strong> Included in the standard tour; soft drinks and other beverages also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
