Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp (Wilderness Safaris)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The principal lodge in the northern wilderness, positioned in the Hoanib River corridor where the river’s final stretch crosses the coastal plain before reaching the ocean. Wilderness Safaris operates the camp with 8 guest tents; guiding is provided by a resident team with specific knowledge of the local desert lion and elephant populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aktivit\u00e4ten:<\/strong> Desert lion tracking (following the research data shared by Desert Lion Conservation); desert elephant river corridor drives; coastal walks and beach exploration; geological and ecological interpretation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fly-in camp offering access to the coastal wilderness further north, closer to the Kunene River. This camp focuses on the landscape and geological experience of the extreme northern coast; wildlife is secondary to the environment itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most complete northern wilderness experience combines multiple camps in a single fly-in circuit: flying in from Windhoek, spending 2 nights at Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp, then flying north to the Kunene River area or south to a second camp.
